The pomegranate flower is a beautiful offspring of its tree. Known for its bright red attributes, they are a smallish shrub that grows just about 16 to 33 ft high. With a diameter of about 1.2 in, this tree is native to the surroundings of Persia, present-day Iran. The tree thrives in summer and warmer climates including in India, parts of Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Mediterranean basin. Spanish America, California, and a handful of other places also have a thriving population.
Benefits
Pomegranates flower can help prevent or treat various disease risk factors including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, oxidative stress, hyperglycemia, and inflammatory activities. It is demonstrated that certain components of pomegranate such as polyphenols have potential antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticarcinogenic effects.
Pomegranates flower powder is wonderfully effective against acne-prone skin. It stops the acne bacteria from spreading. Its continuous use can also clear out the acne spots.
Pomegranates flower powder also works against hyperpigmentation. People with uneven skin tone can use it to lighten the darker part and have gorgeous glowing skin.
Pomegranates flower powder can also reduce wrinkles and fine lines. It can reduce the lines, hydrate the skin and bring back youthful and younger-looking skin.
Pomegranates flower powder also has vitamin c extracts in them. They can regenerate skin cells, lighten the skin tone, giving it a brighter look.
The antioxidants in Pomegranate are also thought to help provide natural protection against ultraviolet (UV) rays. Solar ultraviolet radiations are the primary causes of many biological effects such as photo-ageing and skin cancer. These radiations resulted in DNA damage, protein oxidation, and matrix metalloproteinases induction.
Pomegranates help protect the epidermis (the outer layer of the skin) and helps with skin cell regeneration in the epidermis and dermis (inner layer), increasing circulation and healing the skin, aiding in tissue repair and wound healing.
Pomegranates may help protect against premature aging by helping reduce the signs of skin aging caused by sun damage and exposure, such as wrinkles and fine lines. Pomegranates may also help prevent hyperpigmentation and age spots.
The excessive sebum in the skin triggers acne and other skin problems. Pomegranate benefits the skin by fighting acne and soothing the itchy, flaky skin and causes redness accompanying it. Pomegranate is rich in antioxidants that help to combat acne.
